​Jana grew up under the wide open Kalahari skies in the South of the country, riding her pony bareback through the desert. ​She has lost he heart in the wilderness somewhere and is perpetually OUT THERE  searching for it.

Her growing film portfolio includes award winning short films, documentaries, web series and music videos.

Her latest documentary ‘Guardians of Eden’ for

MulticHoice Namibia deals with community led conservation efforts and premiered on Kyknet, South Africa in October, 2024. Currently streaming on Showmax. ​

Jana is also an experienced film fixer and has an extensive network of professionals and conservation experts providing access to Namibia's vast wildernesses including the Namib Desert, Bushmanland, Kunene Region and Zambezi Region.

Her team is able to provide logistics and film fixing

in remote areas.
